Hi, my name is Priyanka Kukreja and welcome to my blog!

I am the Tech Lead at Stripe where I am helping move $ xx billion across borders. Previously, I was a Tech Lead at Instagram where I used Artificial Intelligence to solve one of the most pressing problems plaguing our communities right now: integrity for billions of users on digital platforms. I made the community a safe space by removing bad content such as nudity, violence, scam, fraud and more.

I grew up in Ballabgarh, a small town at the outskirts of India’s capital, New Delhi. I graduated from BITS - Pilani where I pursued Bachelors in Computer Science and Master’s in Economics. I then attended Carnegie Mellon to pursue a second Master’s in Computer Science where I specialized in Artificial Intelligence.

My career inflection point came when I worked at Microsoft (2 out of 400 people selected) and I used AI for empowering millions of businesses to make their technology footprint more efficient. I have been building on those AI foundations for the past 10 years - at Stripe now I use AI to smartly move money across borders cheaply and quickly. My work supports millions of small and medium-sized business owners to accept payments from billions of users around the world.
